एस मुख़र्जी पहले ऐसे लेखक थे जिन्होंने आज के 100 साल पहले “इंडियन घोस्ट स्टोरीज ” किताब लिखी थी जो आज भी बहुत प्रसिद्ध है | उन्होंने ब्रिटिश काल में भारत में हो रही परनोर्मल एक्टिविटी पर आधारित कहानियों को अपनी किताब में समाहित किया है
